She has exhibited widely in museums, institutions and galleries, and has received numerous awards including the prestigious Pew Fellowship in the Arts.

Rutstein will take part in a discussion on “Expeditions, Experiments, and the Ocean: Arts and Sciences at Sea” with oceanographic researcher Samantha Joye, Athletic Association Professor of Arts and Sciences in the UGA department of marine sciences, and will have work on exhibit in the Georgia Museum of Art and the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Rutstein will return to UGA for a second series of Delta Chair events, including another public conversation with Joye, in March 2019.
