Felson Faculty Writing Retreat

All faculty from all departments and colleges are welcome at the monthly Felson Faculty Writing Retreat. No advance registration needed: just bring a concrete objective, whether related to a book or article in progress, a conference paper, book prospectus, conference abstract, or any other research communication.

Each retreat begins with brief introductions (and snacks!), with each participant stating a writing goal for the afternoon. We then write steadily and quietly. To begin the last half hour, we check in with one another on progress, then “sprint” with thirty minutes of intensive writing. Latecomers are welcome, as well as colleagues who can stay only for part of the session.
