Global Studies of the American South
With the support of a major 2018 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Willson Center has funded 12 three-year research projects by UGA humanities and arts faculty and graduate students beginning in 2019. The grant-funded projects are part of the Willson Center’s expanded Global Georgia Initiative, and are divided into two research categories: Coastal Studies and Global Studies of the American South.
