Willson Center Announces Faculty Fellowships for 2013–2014 Academic Year

The Willson Center’s primary function is to support research in the humanities and arts through the awarding of fellowships to outstanding faculty at the University of Georgia. We offer our sincerest congratulations to our Faculty Fellows for 2013–2014.

They are Rachel Gabara, Simon Gatrell, Kelly Happe, Jamie Kreiner, Pablo Lapegna, Chana Lee, Casie Legette, Stephen Mihm, Nicolas Morrissey, Thomas Peterson, Charles Platter, Patricia Richards, Daniel Rood, Susan Rosenbaum, and Emily Sahakian. Please see our Faculty Fellows page for detailed information about each of them and for descriptions of their research projects.

Willson Center Faculty Fellows are selected by an interdisciplinary UGA committee of distinguished artists and scholars. Fellowships provide course release from two normally assigned courses in one academic year. Fellowship recipients give a lecture or talk on campus during the academic year at one of two Fellows’ Symposia. The first of these will take place November 7 as part of the university’s Spotlight on the Arts festival.
