National Humanities Conference issues call for proposals
The Federation of State Humanities Councils and the National Humanities Alliance have announced the 2018 National Humanities Conference, which will take place in New Orleans November 8 – 11, 2018 in conjunction with the city’s tricentennial celebration, and issued a call for proposals. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, March 16, 2018
The National Humanities Conference, according to the NHA website, “brings together the public humanities and academia to explore local and national opportunities and challenges, discover new ideas and research, learn about collaborations and best practices, and strengthen America’s humanities network.” The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities will host the 2018 conference
