Willson director to speak in Cambridge symposium “Joyce to Becket: Ireland and Modernism”

An international symposium on Ireland and Modernism at Magdalene College, Cambridge will feature more than 20 speakers including Nicholas Allen, Franklin Professor of English and director of the Willson Center. The symposium, “Joyce to Beckett: Ireland and Modernism,” will be held March 22-23 and is presented in association with the Cambridge Group for Irish Studies.

Other speakers include: Ned Allen, Lauren Arrington, John Banville, Scarlett Baron, Angela Bourke, Steven Connor, Alex Davis, Hunter Dukes, Lisa Dwan, Roy Foster, Claire Hutton, Margaret Kelleher, Declan Kiberd, Edna and Michael Longley, Willy Maley, Drew Milne, Emilie Morin, David Wheatley, and Clair Wills.
