AE at 150: A Conversation on George Russell’s Life and Art @ National Gallery of Ireland, Lecture Theatre

A collaboration between the ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art and the Willson Center, AE at 150: A Conversation on George Russell’s Life and Art presents a series of short talks on the well-known activist, artist, and critic. The event will explore Russell’s contribution to the Celtic Revival, from his poetry and paintings to his work with the Irish Agricultural Organisation Society and The Irish Homestead. Speakers include Willson Center Director Nicholas Allen, Roy Foster, Deirdre Kelly, Roisin Kennedy, and PJ Matthews.

This event, which takes place at the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin, is free with no advance booking necessary. All are welcome.
