Dedication of the new location of the Willson Center

Willson houseThrough the generosity of Jane Willson, our Board of Friends and individual donors, and with support from the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Willson Center has relocated to a historically renovated two-story house at 1260 South Lumpkin Street. This will be a hub and showcase for humanities and arts research, and will host international guests, receptions, events, and the Willson Center staff.

Willson Center Director Nicholas Allen invites the UGA community to attend a ceremony at the Willson Center’s new location Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m., with President Jere W. Morehead giving the dedication. The event will also honor the Willson Center’s 2014-2015 Faculty Research Fellows, and a reception will follow the ceremony.
